Aki Moyu (Autumn is Burning)

My two favourite seasons in Japan are Spring and Autumn. Here are shown some images that have been created from photographing autumn coloured trees in the mountains close to Kobe, an area known as Nunobiki. As my processing skills develop I am attempting to use my images as points of departure to create photographs that I see in my minds eye. Here as I experienced the wonderful display of autumn tree colours I felt that nature was providing its own fireworks to celebrate life past and that yet to come.
